[Milsurplus] RDF on WW2 aircraft

On aircraft with both an RDF of the MN- or BC- series, and a liaison HF
transmitter, or should i say, LF-HF transmitter, more accurately, did the
RDF have a relay to ground the loop input during transmit periods, or was
the RDF completely independent? If independent, could the RDF be used
while transmitting, on HF ?  Or would it be desensitized ?  Tnx - Hue Miller
