GE, All,
Jim, you have made this packrat one envious guy {evil grin}. To pick up 
that kind of hardware from a TRASH BIN !!??!! Is a truly incredible 
story.. I too, was fortunate to have been around in an era when Philly 
still had it's "radio row" now, sadly gone, as are some truly awsome 
surplus outfits on N. Broad St just north of Temple U. (  Arch Rival 
heheheh being a Drexel Grad)..... That portion of N Broad is now the 
"badlands" where one dares not venture, unless wearing full battle 
rattle, complete with ceramic chicken plate, and preferably at 1500' AGL 
( unfortunately, since the FAA sent me the dreaded "denied" letter that 
is, alas, closed to me, but the stores, are gone as well, so no 
loss--hi--).... Radio Row is now the "Convention Center"...

Ah, Progress.. not so good, eh... but, the envy over the Mercury 
hardware still persists, many thanks for sending it to us, I have 
dutifully saved the pix onto the hard drive for future envious, 
drooling, viewing ;-)

OPNOTE: If you note two different signatures, one is for my MARS 
reports, which must be concise, with a minimum of signature "Just the 
Facts, Ma'm"  and the other is my usual, long one ;-)  I simply forget 
which is which when I reply to emails.....
