I must admit that I had a great bean counter assigned to me for a couplke of
years.
He was great. He knew his stuff and wass always able to tell me the
cost/schedule
status of any of several progrzam I had in my division. At my retirement
party, I
presented him with a bag of pinto beans and bestowed on him the title of
"Legume
Logistician."

Most of them, tough, are the source of a very high index of rectal
discomfort!!!

Same with the Hubble 'scope, John. Some #@! bean counter
decided to save $100 K by not doing the final mirror accuracy test.

A friend of mine worked at PE on that program. He was pretty graphic
about it. A former employee of mine worked on the fix optics?

Hubble turned out to be nearsighted.
  Money saved: $100 K
Cost of a shuttle trip to fix hubble: several million.

Try Billions.

Plumbing is starting to look attractive. The only thing to keep
in mind is that it rolls downhill.

 Plumbers need to know:

Shit flows downhill
Payday is Thursday.

A plumber I know is now a landlord. Better money... less work.

Take care,
-J
