That is most likely a real mod, that was used to switch bank of crystals in
the ART-13B mod. It should also have and extra large Jones socket in the LF
osc area. These were postwar modificationd to allow 20 crystal controlled
channels, still using the autotune. used by both the military and early
postwar airlines, as the FCC required crystal control on the HF bands. Very
nice if you have the C-DAT oscillator for it. I may have an extra if you
don't have it.
