Has anyone ever seen a RAK or RAL that appeared to have "seen service"
shipboard? All the ones I've seen either look too good or were weather
beaten in a yard or garage -- no tell-tale of long ocean voyages or having
been mounted.
If not, I suspect those that were installed went down with their ships,
whether at sea or in the scrapyard and those that survive now were
surplussed out of stock supplies. Same for the power supplies.
