I have been on every one of the bay Bridge ships in Chesapeake Va and every
piece of gear in radio was smashed to bits with fire axes. haven't found
much more than some good cable assemblies, some of the other ships were
stripped to the point where every circuit breaker, telephone and intercom
speaker was removed, I cant imagine what it cost to remove all those
thousands of items. and they all but told me not to come back because of
insurance reasons and the risk of me rooting around on the ships, but it was
neat while it lasted, it was like going back in time. and I assure all the
bells and clocks have been missing for at least 20+ yrs!!
