Dynos require(request?) lube every 1000 hrs.That's maybe once in a 
lifetime for the aveage ham useing them.Lube it and use it!So you run 
at low input voltage.Simple regulators as Hue mentioned should work 
fine.Or just try it. If the load is constant then the dyno output 
should be too,
