Here's something for the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" department

Listing is an unworthy little WECo 6AS6 with garish alliteratives for
appeal to tone heads*
But real reson was to ask the sane WECo community if there was info on
the Sierra that piggy-backs on the ad.
Did the same under Rohde & Schwarz

One guy wrote me based on that ad
'rm
*went to a wine & triode party recently with a pal. Was kind & interested
& was recruited for membership.
Those people appear professionally accomplished and DO recall that
audio electronics were once graded for transparency. But now lack of
same & visual appearance has tilted the balances.
And it's known negative feedback made LD foning possible, etc. But
that's decried since the electronics has become a musical instrument
itself.
Many like to homebrew & and are learning electronics.... like use of
oscilloscopes. Techniques few hams find applicable.
Oddly, seemingly few are musicians or even appreciate the stuff.
But what stuns me about the bunch are those huge $ turntables that
appear to manufacture the vinyl disks as well as play 'em. Or the
20 k-buck CD players that turn out the same bit stream as the
the $11 'music clam' from the drug store.
Sheesh, such cupidity
