[Milsurplus] LO radiation and the TBX

I have a Navy issue news photo of TBXs in use in comm center
on Okinawa. It is the early model TBX but the amusing part is the
TBX's are apparently being used as monitor receivers, for what
exact purpose i do not know, maybe warning nets?? In the same
comm center is a TTY machine, so you know their had to be
some actual communication receiver in the same location. It also
seems to me that i have seen more -8s as new, complete, surplus
and not the earlier ones in this pristine state. -Hue Miller
