[Milsurplus] WWII-era USN headphone question

Makes sense to me!   :-)

I think the Navy used that umbrella 49015 number so that regardless of 
the aircraft you were going to put the ARC-5 set in, it would have the 
appropriate setup.  I'm a little puzzled why they would have a separate 
number on the earphone elements for the ARR-3, and am wondering if they 
might have a different frequency response than the ANB-H-1s?
