[Milsurplus] ASB range

[Unserviceable but Repairable]

OK, per custom of the exact community within our ranks, Nat'l
Defense Research Comm 9/23/44 compilation on ASB says:

   Max Reliable Range:

     Bombers @ 10,000 ft   6 mi.
     10000t cargo vessels 40 mi
     Submarines (surfaced) 5 mi.
     etc.

So the 2 miles on a wooden fishing boat mighta been about right

Bet this will get tongues wagging.
