Hi all,
Everytime I have run into a piece of mil gear with the XA-1 designation next
to the equipment type, it was always a prototype or within the first few
units built for evaluation. The last unit I got was an ARC-164 (XA-1), this
was one of the first units to have the control as an integeral part of the
radio for the later panel mount units versus the box one place in the
aircraft and the control in another.
