Just do what I used to do -- use a pair of R-390A's connected for 
diversity, hook the
receivers up to a pair of crossed dipoles. :-) Seriously, did it in 
an apartment too with
the short dipoles on the balcony. I only have one in the rack right 
now, but I ought to
put the other in  -- reason being I just got a free Johnson Valiant, 
so that would be
perfect for fade free receive. Still looking for a free T-368, but 
I'm not going to
hold my breath on that one.....

Hmm, I could get a couple more 390's and connect up for quad 
diversity, the first pair
going to N-S crossed dipoles, the second pair to E-W crossed dipoles. 
Not sure I would
actually GAIN anything doing that, it would just neat to say I did it.
