Here is more food for thought: in Japan and China, recent-old manufactured items
are regarded as disagreeable and to be disposed of. For  one  example, i give the 
Japanese  scouts over here looking for early Datsun cars, because they didn't
keep any of their own.  I suspect there aren't any 8-Track collector groups in the
Orient. Until maybe 100 years from now, then they'll catch on, to those also.
