I stand corrected.....

Browsing through TM 11-227 I note that the BC-969 was included in the TC-8 
"Radio Direction Finder Central" and the TC-9 "Radio Intercept Central."   In 
both cases, the shelters (HO-27s) also held BC-342, 344, 787 and 794 receivers.
