All the SCR-522 I have seen in Europe had two tags. One was the tipical US
Army tag and the other was the other had a small crown with A and M. The US
Army had the name of the contractor (Bendix).

Subject: [Milsurplus] SCR-522 ?

Hi,

Just acquired two units that look like the SCR-522 that I used years ago for
2-meter MARS. But the
nameplates have me confused - they say:

SIGNAL CORPS U.S. ARMY
T/R UNIT TYPE TR 5043

The name plate has a small crown (?) at the top with "A" on the left and "M"
on the right side of
the crown.

Can someone tell me what we have here?

TIA
