Nope.  First I've ever heard of it.  The plot thickens!  By "old style audio 
connector", do you mean the U-79/U as used on the Korean War vintage sets (and 
the AN/PRC-47)?

I believe it is a prototype of the VRC-12 series done by the Canadians 
in the mid 50s.

It uses a multitude of the same type of modules used in the CPRC-26 as 
well as the old style audio connector. It has channel selector buttons 
and a motor drive for changing channels and covers roughly the 
frequency range of the RT-246.
