GA all and Hue,
You know, I have watched (I think) virtually every documentary on the
LBG, and for the life of me, I never remember seeing ANY radio equipment
shown in any extant photographs. What I do remember seeing is the
bombsight, still mounted on the stabilizer mount, which seems to me,
kind of odd, given the year and the destruct regs for same. I also don't
remember any pix of the cockpit. If someone could point me in the right
place for the books, I would appreciate it.

Incidentally, I don't believe they could have flown her out without
some substantial repairs, as I remember all 4 props were pretty well
bent, which, in itself, not a problem, cause one could install new
props, if you accept the cranks and the rest of the engine innards the
way they were, as well as new tires, batts, etc I don't believe, given
the environment that deterioration would have been that bad,. once the
fuselage was lifted enough to get the gear extended, but seem to recall
her back being broken aft of the wing, my memory may be wrong..it was on
the history channel about a week ago, but I didn't watch it.. If anyone
remembers seeing pix of radio equipment, let me know, I think I would
have remembered it if I had....
