Think someone speculated here that ham-type Abbott 2.5 meter (5 meter) super-
regen transcievers were used by SW Pacific coastwatchers as well as
counterparts in Finland

Is that my immagination @ work?

Just got a BC-322 that does 5 meters & gessing maybe this obselete-by-WW2
super regen transciever might have been so-used too.  Have bud with running
5m Abbott & two'd display neat together.
