[Milsurplus] R-1004, the Zenith TO, and the 1L6...

I've been searching for a decent substitute for the unobtainium 
1L6. I find a couple which have some promise, but I need to do 
some more work.

The European DK-92 or 1AC6 (requires swapping the wiring at 
pins 5 and 6), and the U.S. made 1U6 (a direct plug-in) may 
work.

Further investigation is warranted.
