Re the one on e-bay:
He has cut a speaker hole in the thing.
The knobs may be orginal but couldn't tell from photo.
I have owned one. The front end  design is very close or
a copy of the Hammerlund HQ-120 departs from the normal run of SW receivers.
This is not a little brother of the AR-88 as the design, as stated above is
entirely different from the AR-88..
This receiver is a faily good set but his asking price
is rediculous.. Buy a HQ-120 instead.
Some of these receivers made in Canada covered
200kc to 400kc instead of the lower part of the
broadcast band.
