DAG is small suitcase architecture set with suitcase style
carry handle. Clearly not automatic. Unless the DAG
nomenclature was somehow reused.
From examples i have seen, the DAG was not issued. I
suspect it was intended for the Pacific War, but have no
proof. An Army equivalent would be the SCR-504 ( ??
right nomenclature), altho that one looks a lot less stylish,
more science-kludge.
I have seen the DAG listed in the Navy catalog, but with
no data, and the words, "This set is listed higher than
restricted". Dean Solderling came up with a photocopy
of a 1971 Navalex-numbered manual - most odd, both in
date and manual identification.
