I had the DAK in CG tech school in '57 but it was being rapidly replaced by the AN/SRD-7 (or was it 12),, a lot smaller and lighter set. any CG ships over about 100' had DF sets, didn't use them much and don't reemember any shore stations with DF gear. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
