Two suggestions - dehumidify or A/C the storage space, and get a gallon
of LPS-3 to use on any surfaces you want to protect. The machining guys
use it on the unpainted part of anvils they have to leave outside all
the time, and I use it on the machined surfaces of machine tools in my
garage. Leaves a waxy film, though.

There are some other products out there that are probably just as good,
