I have one of yours. They are very nice.  You can raise the threashold a bit to
drop much of the clutter. I wonder if a light yellow filter might help also.

That's the reason for scanning everything at 600 dpi. The cut and paste is too
time consuming for a onesie. You need 4 to 9 pixels per half-tone dot so as not
to loose info. 20 8 1/2 x 11 pages go on one CD. That's about the cost of a
xerox. This method is not perfect, but does work well.
