[Milsurplus] Strange Issue?

I've follwed part of a thread here re: "Leaving the List" and am really
confused or missing something.  I've been on the list for a while, read all
of the traffic, reply to some, and have made a couple of good deals, and a
couple of bad deals.  What I really haven't heard is mis-treatment of folks.
This list seems to be one of the more genteel lists, with little
controversy.  Also little activity - which may account for lack of
"response".  Also, no one is ever owed a response to their postings.  If I
get 5% of my posts answered with something useful (on many lists) I feel
lucky.  Am I missing something?
