Thanks for the nice reply Bill. I could have easily been a 293X0 as I did go
to Radio OP SCHOOL.. But decided at 10gpm it just wasn't what I wanted. So
ended up at Berry Fld Nashville, Tenn as a an Airman and OJT as a recip
aircraft mechanic. We closed our unit at Berry Fld and we opened McGhee Tyson
A.B. in Alcoa , Tn. We were the 74th Air Base Sqdn and the 105th F.I.S.
Equiped with P-47's , Gooney Birds, T-11's and and maybe a C-45. This was
during the Korean War. I wasn't real hep on on Radio at the time but
remember one of our Gooney's or our only one had an ART-13 in it. Wish I
still had my ART-13. I do have the P.T.O. or what ever out of the one I
stripped. See what I mean about this list. You are the only one to reply to
my msg. So those that think there so much better will miss out on the part
they might like to have as a spare for their rig. I wonder why. I even
offered to trade my Pwr Xfmr from a BC-610-I JUST FOR A SCRAPPPER SP-600.
Fellow didn't even make a counter offer if he had anything besides cash which
I would have accepted if he had offered it. But no he had to ignore me after
that. And that's what everyone has done since except for those few; and you
guys know who you are.
I'm not claiming I have a warehouse full of stuff or even a closet full of
things. But when you are so rude as to ignore me and my friendship you don't
know what you may have missed. Now you may ever how little it might be or
how much it could be.

About forgot Bill I was a 43171A/W besides being a 30474. Was Detachment
Commander several Comm Units. One in Turkey and One in Alaska.
Thanks for the FB QSO Bill.
