[Milsurplus] WW2 Beachmasters

As part of the display aboard the LST-325, we want to establish a museum
of communications equipment used by all branches during amphib operations.
The question for the list is...does anyone know  the nomenclature of
the voice announcing system used by thje beachmasters?  I have heard
the "PAM-1" mentioned but can find no information on such a unit.
