Hi,

The LM-10 would be cabled to the intercom amp so the person setting the
freq. of a TX could hear the zero beat in his headset while near the TX.
The LM would be mounted somewhere where a headset lead would not reach it
when standing/setting by a TX.  The shipboard TXs each had a jack on them
that could be made live from the LM usually mounted somewhere else in the TX
compartment.
