That's an interesting perspective, Rian. I find no documentation on
incorporating an LM *audio* feed to the interphone amp in any WWII Navy
airframe. In the usual aircraft interphone circuits I'm familiar with,
there would be no reason to feed the LM audio to the rest of the aircrew
- it was used by the radio operator alone, which is why I asked the
question. In a private note, Bob Wilder mentioned the cabling being
essentially to deliver power to the LM, which is certainly the way they
used it in Navy airplanes. I appreciate the different viewpoint!
