I would say that I expertly sought out the proper settings for the
Hunter site, but that would be giving myself more credit than I 
deserve.  Truth be told, it came down to pure luck :-)

It only took me two tries to find the correct base freq for the site.  
I started out at 406.000 and on the first step up to 406.0125, the 
BC 250 started tracking the system correctly.  The proper settings
for the Hunter site are now:

Base:     406.0125
Spacing:     12.5
Offset:     380

406.500     Control Channel
407.5625
408.125
408.3625

Note that there should be at least one or two more frequencies for
the site, I just haven't found them yet.
