As I have mentioned here before, the 2052 is a poor excuse for a scanner.
It does work. Doesn't do FM in the UHF milair band but AM works pretty
well. I have a 20 db pad in front of mine to keep the trash level down.

It does OK for my current use as a tip-off scanner for UHF milair. I have
not used any of the computer control programs, that might help. It is a real
pain to use with the front panel controls.

On the one hand I was disappointed, on the other I found a use for it.
Maybe you will too. I won't buy another.
