[MilCom] MilCom UHF Capable Scanner On Sale

I am not really looking for another UHF rig at the moment but that really
does not look like a bad deal for a MILAIR rig. Might be worth some looking
into while the cost is down. I can always add it to the collection anyway.

Does anyone on the list use this rig on a regular basis for Milair? I would
appreciate any thoughts you might be willing to offer.

For me, big needs are the ability to run it under computer control via
Spectrum Commander and also the need for 138-144 in AM mode. Any input on
those specifics would be most welcome.

The Radio Shack Pro 2052 (catalog 20-432) is now selling for $169.99 (30.00
off normal price).

It has 1000 channels & besides trunking can also receive UHF Military Air

The only drawback is that it can't change mode (to AM) in the 138-150.8 mhz
band, but 1K of UHF airband isn't that bad!!
