[MilCom] OT (somewhat) - Salina chosen as launch site for around-the-world solo flight

SALINA - An unprecedented attempt at a solo, around-the-world, nonstop,
unrefueled flight will have a distinct Kansas flavor.

The around-the-world flight of the GlobalFlyer will begin and, if things go
right, finish at the Salina Municipal Airport.

Mission control for the flight will also be in Salina -- at Kansas State
University's College of Technology and Aviation. It is anticipated that a
number of K-State students will be volunteers helping with flight control
operations.
