[MCARC] K0KSI Tag.

Michael,

The lack of a slashed zero on the 30 day paper tag really isn’t an issue because that paper tag is never displayed on the vehicle. You are instructed to keep your old plate on the vehicle until the new tag arrives and just carry the paper tag in the vehicle along with the registration. In my case, the paper tag would have expired 14 days before my existing license plate. It is kind of redundant since the registration provides proof that you have registered your vehicle for the next year. The paper tag would be more relevant if you were getting your first ARO tag.

My plates were from 3 generations ago when the plates were stamped with raised lettering. Since then there has been a light blue plate with the Kansas Seal and 3 x 3 black printed characters, then 7 characters, and now the Blue and Yellow plates with printed characters.

I am curious how WCØAA has a non-metallic ARO license plate.

I hazard a guess that the person in MS Co. treasurer's office just wasn't smart enough or wanted to take the time to figure out how to get the slashed zero character. I'd take the tag back especially if you had requested the slashed zero on some form (that I assume you had to fill out). It's definitely possible.
