Did I miss anything good at the meeting last night?

Nate:  I'm sure I can find a small switch around here.....

Among other things, a router would give us the option of having more than
one IP address, which is what I'm assuming we'll get when we plug into the
modem directly.  But, if there's only going to be one device -- the Pi --
and if you're comfortable with the Pi's security having a public IP, then
we can plug it directly into the modem.
