Yeah, I don't think I will be buying one of those soon, if ever. I'm not
trying to work EME on 10 GHz now. I'd probably have to move to a new
location first, as most of the sky is not visible from most of my yard.
I could probably come up with a couple FMM5061's for around $200 and build
my own amp that put out 8 watts. But right now 2.5 or 3 watts is good
enough for most of the work I'm doing on that band.
I have an amp for 2304 that is supposed to be good for 25 watts. Now that
the VHF contesting season is done for 2012, maybe I can get the tine to try
it out.
