[Lowfer] QRM or LOWFER?

Hi again Gedas,

Interesting question. Looks like the "signal" is about 3.4 Hz above the
low tone of WM. Just before your local sunrise would be when WH2XPP
might come through and to my surprise I did copy it some days ago using
the California KPH kiwisdr
(https://mailman.qth.net/pipermail/lowfer/attachments/20241106/c2fcf1a1/attachment.jpg)
so I know it's QRV. You said "sunrise the other evening". Did you
perhaps mean sunset? If so that would rule out WH2XXP as the source.

The KPH receiver is GPS referenced so WH2XXPP is at about 185.3049  kHz.
Your capture of TAG which  is accurately at 185.302 kHz indicates your
readout is about 0.5 Hz too high. Your capture with WM shows the lower
tone at about 185.3009 kHz, meaning it's really more like 185.3004 kHz.
But on your capture scale WH2XXP should appear at
185.3049+0.0005=185.3054 kHz.  If it's there that would put it above
your capture scale. Whatever is going on just 3.4 Hz up would seem to be
something else, most likely a spurious but maybe someone else is
experimenting around the lowfer watering hole and will come out of the
woodwork soon.
