[Lowfer] Got my approval from the UTC today

A friend of mine suggested that I should have written back and given them
my official approval to provide and sell electrical power. While I found
that quite funny, I doubt the UTC would see the humor. ;-)
I have yet to receive a response to my e-mail, and I very much doubt I
will. As this same friend pointed out, they may not have any actual
regulatory power over amateur radio, but they can, in fact, deny us the
ability to transmit on the new MF and LF bands by simply saying we are
within 1 km of one of their PLC transmission lines. I'm not aware of any
sort of appeals process or of any need for them to prove it.
So probably the best thing to do, once you receive your approval, is to
archive it somewhere, start operating, and not send any snarky email (like
I did). ;-)
