Mike:
Sorry for delay - just getting back to teaching and trying to do too much,
too late in evenings, and have let email lapse.
The work that Bill was doing was indeed on 185.3. Using very simple
transmitter - NPN/PNP 2N3904/3906 at the beginning. Carefully controlled
power at 1 watt DC input. Came through every month of the year with the
50ft x 50ft loop. Amazing amount of work on Bill's part - with lots of
documentation - and a real "Elmer" to all the newbies.
Will try to shut down occasionally and list for the "new" WM.
Good luck
73 Mitch
