HI Laurence....the video wasn't cheesy....it was informative.  I just got back from a trip into town
for a few things, and thought I'd try the MagWhip to see how secure it was.  I put it immediately 
in front of the rear side-to-side rail of my RAV4's roof rack, which would eliminate any likelihood
of it wanting to tip backwards.  It stood up well to the 16 km round trip that had a max speed of 
70 km/hr.  The operational test is next, but not today, as we're getting freezing rain now!
