I compared this capture to your snapshot on 12/7/14 which was your first 
of the Wm beacon. As I remember, we had a snow cover over a good portion 
of the country at that time.  The signals then were much more solid for 
all, but the difference between Wm and the others was about the same as 
last night.

The random background noise from last night looks a little more blured 
and not as sharp/bright as in December. The ARGO settings are the same, 
and the time last night was about 4 hrs. earlier.

I know this comparison is a little apples and oranges but I would 
conclude you have reduced your background clutter.
