Jay,
I still can get an idea about the coil inductance for each band since I
know the coil arrangement but I never tried to measure the current on
any band until today. While sorting through boxes that was stored when
I left home after high school in 65 I found a pair of rf amp meters. I
used them with open wire feed line before I discovered coax. Actually I
knew about coax but old electric fence wire was free :)
I'll count the matching transformer turns later today. Initially I
think the input was 10t so it's now 12t turns. After adding two turns
to the primary I needed to add three to the secondary to get a nice
scope match display.

This is the present stack of coils:

Initially I was using the 73 kHz coil plus two buckets of hookup wire
nesting on over the other for tuning and additional inductance:

Now with the amp meters I should see which method of loading is more
efficient.
I changed to QRSS60 which you probably know by now.
