Bob, it appears WSPR-15 is pretty forgiving of start time errors when the 
signal is sufficiently in the clear, and yours certainly was before dark. 
(I'll be returning out there momentarily to see what has happened since 
then.)  I finally found my arithmetic error, but by the time I did it was 
three and a half minutes into the 2200Z slot...and still got a good decode 
anyway.  Two slots later, it looks as if you got a few seconds late start 
after shifting the frequency back up one hertz, and still got a decode with 
SNR showing in the minus-single-digit range.  Signal and ambient noise was 
again just under AGC threshold, but with almost no static crashes today at 
all prior to sunset!  Normal Morse would have worked fine over our path this 
afternoon.  More when I next return from the field...
