The first thought that popped into my head was a variometer in
series with the radials with the vari. between the radials, and
the common ground point... THEN.. I thought; maybe another way,
would be to place the variometer " across " the radial field which
would make for a Tunable LC circuit if there is a way to make the
radials " look like " a capacitor to the variometer, and not a
" dead short " .... Strictly from a laymans standpoint, and with
no experience in doing such.. Could a capacitor be placed in series
with the variometer, and connected the the radials in some fashion
as to allow for " tuning " the radial system to resonance ??
( if there is such a thing at LF for a short Radial system )...
