Additional wire might be better off used to 'fatten up' the loop conductor, lowering R and
increasing loop current.

Subject: [Lowfer] MP Loop antenna reconfigured

Just finished installing a second vertical component to the main loop. Freq 137780.48 ish
At each side of the feedpoint ( and tuning box ) I added one vertical wire.
One is 80 feet, and the other is 90 feet.
Another potato has been planted in the neighbours garden for Spring.
I am attaching a small picture which will give you'all an idea of the new configuration.

Interesting that the tuning changed very little - probably on 200 pF. Antenna current
remain almost unchanged, as you might expect.

However, I hope the radiation might be enhanced by the increased wire in the air.

Thanks for listening.
