I haven't had a chance to listen much lately and can't remember which radio it
is for sure, but I think it's my TenTec 320 that I can program the sidetone
frequency to "-700 Hz" instead of "700 Hz" so it acts my other receivers. I
don't know how many receivers have that flexibility.
When you are looking at something like Argo or an audio spectrum tool, it makes
more sense to me (others may be different) that if I tune up in frequency I'm
moving the window "up" the visual display also. It is also easier for me to add
the dial reading and the measured audio frequency to figure out exactly where
the signal is.
