Alpha stations were audible this morning pre sunrise. Hints of JJI yesterday morning here as well. 
It's interesting to watch the static levels on the amplitude display. While there currently are 
static peaks that rival the levels of mid summer these peaks are getting fewer and fewer and there 
are now 'windows of opportunity' between them ... whereas mid summer it's just a solid wall of noise 
at the  peak level. Looking forward to mid winter conditions!
