Hey Everyone:

Thanks to Lloyd, and Garry for the additional reports, and captures of
the SMT-HELL signal from " XR ".. I appreciate your time looking for it.

Garry, the frequency drift from the old FT757GX-II is the biggest
aggravation for me.. As the radio gets hot; the frequency drifts down,
and as it cools; it goes back up.. Of course it is the reverse in what
you see in a waterfall..These old rigs are noted for drift due to the
original parts from the factory not being of the highest quality...
Modern replacements have much better tolerances, and I have all the
replacement trimmer caps ( ceramic ), the original parts are plastic..
The XTALs are also noted to change over the years, but that will be 
something I live with considering a single XTAL costs close to $40.00
Changing the trimmers will be an all day job sometime this summer
during the off season.. I have been reading about GPS Disciplined
frequency control but that may be more than my available pocket change.
