You <<may>> find yourself wishing for the present good old days. We
certainly were for a few years at the peak of the last cycle. We would
lose anything resembling long-haul propagation for days and weeks.
Things would just start to recover, and another CME or two would start
things all over again.
One silver lining for those available during the daytime is the enhanced
LF prop sometimes provided by a good-size event. That's how Dex and I
did the WOLF contact in early afternoon over a 680 mile path.
So continue to enjoy the quiet times. On the other hand, maybe the Hifer
activity will pick up again when the sun gets active!
